How to create a score quickly

The Score Wizard

Use this to create an empty score with the instruments needed, in the correct order, along with titling and margins etc. Then all you have to do is enter the notes.

Step 1.  FILE/NEW/SCORE WIZARD or [Contol]+[N]. Select any combination of instruments and capella will add them to the score and arrange them in the accepted order for the type of score.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2.  Add the titling including any headers and footers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3. Set the margins, page numbering and stave/note size.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4. Set the clef and key.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 5. Set the time signature.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 6. Enter the music.
